SERVICES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS, HISTORY:
- Prepared and provided a comprehensive GIS/GPS service program for County, federal and private entities, Natural Resource Departments, as well as other local agencies providing geodatabases covering many 100,000 sq. miles
- Prepared and provided environmental and GIS/GPS services to local tribal entities including Natural Resources, Fire Suppression, EPA Dept. and Real Estate Dept
- Prepared major stream channel assessments (90 miles of Class I water) in Mendocino and Sonoma counties for large privately owned timber company
- Conducted many Northern Spotted Owl surveys (to USFWS/USFS protocol) for a large federal entity enabling them to conduct their land management activities since 1990
- Prepared and provided many complete biological services (Biological Assessments for Fisheries and Wildlife, Section 7 Consultations,) with Federal concurrence documentation for both private and governmental agencies
- Prepared numerous Northern Spotted Owl consultations as required by the State of California for proposed Timber Harvest Plans, NTMPs in Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Humboldt and Trinity counties
- Responsible for securing over a million dollars in grant funds from a federal source for biological data collection, GIS, and Instream Monitoring and Assessment of Salmonid Habitats (this on-going project began in 1998)
- Created and provided re-vegetation plans for urban and riparian coastal streams
- Produced numerous Biological Investigations for Recovery Operations Specialty Services for construction and disaster projects (dredging projects; over 31+ road repair site projects; and, FEMA disaster sites) located in Sonoma, Napa, Colusa and Mendocino Counties
- Produced Biological Investigations for Recovery Operations Specialty Services for the City of Petaluma, Noyo River Harbor District
- Produced Biological Assessments for Round Valley Indian Tribes, Tribal Housing Authority, Indian health Service, Stewart’s Point Rancheria and others
- Custom monitoring projects
- Wildlife and resource projects while with the United States Forest Service from 1989 through 1993 including many NSO wildlife surveys and air photo habitat typing, wheel track inventories, wildlife crew leader (supervisor), bitter brush collection, guzzler installation, and various other wildlife and resource projects with the USFS
A FEW SPECIFIC CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS WIS HAS PROVIDED:
- Elk Creek Revetment Project where WIS designed and provided siltation control by installing a proprietary filtration system within the creek, while monitoring effectiveness during all stages of work.

- Guidiville Indian Rancheria culvert installations
- Gualala River riprap projects to protect the bank from erosion and provide bank stabilization
- Lake Berryessa riprap project (a stream bank erosion and stabilization project)
- Round Valley Indian Reservation (numerous projects over a sixteen year time span)
- Mooretown Rancheria water system installation which ran through protected riparian habitat
- Noyo Harbor dredging operations during which WIS provided monitoring and GIS/GPS services
- Biological Evaluation for the Dewell - Hardesty waterline installation which ran beside Middle Creek in Lake Co.
- Biological Assessment for a Sewer line installation, Phases II and III for Indian Health Services in Covelo
